ADVENTURER'S LOG #9 - CON Check for BLINDNESS

Hello fellow Adventurers,

Hoo boy. It's been a minute since I last blogged, huh? Well, I was forced by biology and a doctor's stern admonishment to take a break. I didn't. Not even close to what the doctor wanted. But it's not like April 27th is going to wait for me.

Good news! I succeeded multiple CON checks and I am not seeing double vision anymore. I'm taking steps to try to avoid it again. I bought some eye drops, and I am looking away from the screen not a healthy amount, but more than I was before.

New developments? I have a bunch more card art. I am loving the hell out of the artists I am still employing, but the new art is gonna dry up. Which may be an advertising problem. A problem with "conversion" of people to sign up for the Newsletter, and keeping them interested.

I spent a LOT of time revamping the visual layout of all of the cards because I am going to send the cards off to some famous people I dearly love (McElroy brothers). The colors have all been changed. They don't look quite as cool, or rich in color on a computer screen now, but it HAD to happen for printing reasons.

When printed, the darkness and saturation of the colors when ink and paper is involved changes all the colors. The red on screen basically looks too close to brown in areas. Same darkness issues with blue and green. Anything dark was effectively black.

I'm going to have to hope for the best on the color corrections and shoot blindly, because the McElroy brothers' podcast has already started. I wish I had heard about it sooner.

There's dozens of other things that happened.
Website work (over and over quality improvements in visuals, trying to fix a scrolling issue on mobile)
Two legal issues
Hours of artist interactions / draw-overs
Shipment company interactions (still looking for the best deal)
Kind of...beginning community outreach.

KK. I have to go. There's so much to do.

We all only think of using Insight Ability Checks about whether someone is bullshitting or not. There has to be more to that skill check.

What about insight into working through a Half-Orc's issues with his orc father?
